About The Irving Barber Shop Directory

Located in Irving, we are a community resource website for all things barber shop and hair cut.  This is an online list or catalog of barbershops; or a directory on all (or part of) the World Wide Web that features the best barbers in town. Typically, directories  listed entries on people or businesses, and their contact information; such directories are still in use today. A web directory like this one; or what we like to call a community resource website, includes entries about websites, including links to those websites, organized into categories and subcategories. Besides a link, each entry may include the title of the website, and a description of its contents. In most web directories, the entries are about whole websites, rather than individual pages within them (called “deep links”). The latter are often limited to inclusion in only a few categories.
There are two ways to find information on the Web: by searching or browsing. Web directories like the IBSD provide links in a structured list to make browsing easier.  Unlike typical search engines, which base results on a database of entries gathered automatically by web crawler, most web directories such as ours are built manually by human editors, in the present case, our (potential) clients and us. So, ISBD allow site owners to submit their site for inclusion by clicking the add your barbershop ; or by claiming it if and when already listed in our directory. Then we’ll have our editors review submissions for fitness.
Entries in the IBSD are listed for free, or by paid submission, for the premium option (meaning the barbershop site owner must pay to have his or her business profiled listed as a premium feature. The latter offers more features and renews yearly. Contact us for more info.
